The rule I learned: in a title or whatnot, 5 letters or more are capitalized as well as the first and last words, as well proper nouns.
But that’s not at all what we are here to discover today. It may have been last year, but no earlier than the year prior to that, when I picked this album out from the crowd of the disheveled bin at Joe’s Albums: Bryan Lee – Live at the Old Absinthe House Bar Friday Night. It’s been moved around some, not catalog’d yet, and has remained unopened until this morning; because I’m moving around doing laundry and whatnot and its spine caught my eye that one time I walked by it, carrying yesterday’s coffee cups to the sink, for the washing.
I fetched an exacto blade, handily located not 30 inches right of the turntable, and sliced open the cellophane. I love it when I hit that angle and it’s just effortless glide…rice paper inner sleeves, that’s so awesome.
Chew on this version while I go put my clothes into the dryer. I mean – who the hell does this guy think he is?
