Ha! I was looking for a dump of something on an older drive and found these images of some tapes I still have. Some of these go way back. It was either '76 or '77 that I got a 'tape recorder' on my birthday. Oh, BOY, thanks, Grandma! As I write this ~50 years later, I still remember being on the porch surrounded by my siblings as I shushed them, readying my flicking finger to pull the tape recorder out of pause mode when the commercial was over. Giggity! They were as excited as I was and I was recording an episode of The Monkee's from the old b&w tv on the porch and for those moments, everything was better.

That episode is not among the following. Also, the older ones from below are kept seperately from these, which is seperate from a zillion classical and opera tapes I don't have images of.

At least one of these goes back to 5th grade and among them is part of a history of my young self. This collection is purely random and I don't even remember taking these pictures, but, they are atop the old metal desk I bought for $5 from work that one time they were remodelling.
